Whether you are staring at four empty walls or a fully-furnished room lacking character, interior design can be frustrating. When there are just a few things that aren't quite right, we have the right solution for you. One of our Interior Designers can work with you at your home or virtually. In one day, help you pull it all together to look amazing.
Is a Day of Design Session Right for Me?
When trying to make the maximum impact in your home, we typically focus on a single room within a day. Here are some of the most common design challenges we can help you with:
Moving Into Your New Home - you aren't sure where to put the bookshelves, how to set up the living room or where to hang the artwork from your trip to Spain, we can help you out.
Room Layout with Drawing - you have a unique layout that requires expert help for planning the furniture. There is a weird empty room and your closets are too small. You are thinking of moving walls in a basement; you need some ideas and a basic drawing for a contractor.
Furniture and Decor Selection - you plan to keep your four-poster bed but need nightstands to coordinate. You want some suggestions on the right kind of chairs for your dining table. Is an 8x10 rug too small with your living room furniture? Selecting the proper pieces of furniture to coordinate with your existing pieces is critical.
Put my Home Together - you need help with reorganizing, simplifying, and styling your home. You secretly know you have too much furniture. It is stressful to be home. The bookshelves need to be cleared and styled.
Artwork Hanging - you have acquired numerous artwork pieces or have fabulous family photographs that you'd love to make into a gallery wall. You just aren't sure how or where to hang them.
Holiday Decorating - you are hosting the holidays and don't have time or vision to bring it to life. You need a tablescape, garland for the mantle and more.
Selling Your Home - when you are staging your home for sale, you need to decorate and accessorize it differently from when you actually live in it. We will help you through this process to get your home ready for going on the market.
How Does it Work?
Discovery Call
A complimentary 15-minute Discovery Call with one of our designers so we can learn more about you and your house goals.
Schedule
Once we know what you are trying to accomplish, we will set up an appointment for one of our designers to meet with you in person or virtually to help you with your project for 5 hours.
Complete Your Design Style Survey
Do you like modern, transitional, classic, or Boho-Chic? Not even sure what Boho-Chic is? No worries, our style survey will help you and any other members of your home narrow down your style so we can spend time designing a space that makes you feel good.
Planning Call
A few days before your scheduled day, we will set up a 30-minute video chat to go over your style survey, discuss budget, and make a plan for the day. This allows us to hit the ground running during your Day of Design session.
Your Day of Design
The big day has come. Your designer will meet with you in the morning to get things started. We will even come with some coffee to make sure we can keep up the energy level for the day. You will be working with your designer for 5 hours (not including a quick lunch break). Depending on how much help you need, we may be selecting paint, picking out pieces of furniture, rearranging your existing furniture, hanging artwork, styling bookshelves, or, many other things. It depends entirely on what we think you need to make your home look amazing. Your designer will leave you with notes as well as a to-do list for any outstanding items that you need to complete on your own.
Follow-up Call
A few weeks after we have transformed your home, we will have a 30-minute followup call to check in on your progress of the to-do list and discuss any other questions that you have.
