This family purchased a beautiful Victorian home in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago and had plans to add an addition on to the house for their new kitchen and master bedroom.  They hired Design Inside to help them design a completely new kitchen for the new home addition.  Working off of the Architects blueprints, we designed various iterations of their kitchen to work with their aesthetic tastes as well as their budget.  The end design is a warm and inviting kitchen which utilizes two different door styles, various cabinets and drawers for storage, and a small shelf in the kitchen island which is used for cook books and has a hidden power outlet which is used for charging their cell phones and iPods.  We also designed the space to utilize their existing appliances for the next year or so while they save up for new appliances.
