This young married couple lives in a beautiful loft in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago.  The home was perfect except that the spare bedroom didn’t offer any privacy for their new baby on the way.  To address this issue, they hired Design Inside to design a new entryway to the nursery.

Instead of throwing up a wall with a standard 6 panel door that would block the light, we designed a sliding barn door with dramatic down lights which double as a night light for when the baby is older.  This new door not only provides privacy for the new baby, but it also acts as a major feature of this Bucktown loft since it can be seen from the main entryway, the living room and the kitchen.

Please note, Design Inside did not help with the decorating of the baby’s room, the talented owner did this on her own.
