Abigail Weiland – Junior Interior Designer

Abigail Weiland - Junior Interior Designer at Design Inside

Growing up near a small central Indiana town, Abigail knew that she would some day venture out of her country surroundings to experience more of the world. She developed a passion for traveling, exploring, and experiencing new places at a young age with the many experiences her parents impressed upon her. Whether it was repainting her bedroom often or using her father’s power tools, Abigail has never been afraid to get into a project and get her hands dirty. She has grown up working in the family business where customer service is the key to success. Abigail enjoys making people happy while being outgoing and passionate about the things that she is involved.

After graduating from high school, she spent a year and a half at Michigan State University where she experienced a taste of the design world and learned the fundamentals of what it meant to be an Interior Designer. Moving to Chicago, the mid-west hub for art and architecture, in the winter of 2009, she found what was missing when she began studying at Harrington College of Design. Abigail is eager to complete her degree in August of 2011. She continues to finish her studies in order to take the NCIDQ exam to become registered as an Interior Designer.
